È appena terminato il concorso italiano di Narrativa Interattiva 2017 e già inizia, puntuale come ogni anno, l'IFComp 2017, la più importante competizione mondiale dedicata all'interactive fiction.
Anche questo anno, come gli anni passati, IFItalia cercherà di dire la sua, provando a recensire quanti più titoli in concorso possibile. Impresa assai ardua, considerando che questa del 2017 è l'edizione più corposa di sempre, con oltre 60 titoli in concorso!!!
Le regole per i giudici sono semplicissime e le tre principali si possono riassumere così:
- Ogni gioco che vogliamo valutare deve essere giocato PER UN TEMPO MASSIMO di 2 ore;
- Ogni giudice deve giudicare almeno 5 titoli entro il 15 Novembre;
Le due novità principali di questa edizione sono:
- la creazione di un fondo di 6.000,00 $ (il "Colossal Fund") per premiare in modo proporzionale tutti i giochi in concorso con un premio in denaro.
- la possibilità di lasciare un giudizio anonimo destinato agli autori dei giochi.
